John Croyle is a man who knows sports, both as a player and a parent. Croyle had a successful college football career at the University of Alabama playing for Coach Paul Bryant. More recently, Croyle has seen his son move into the college football spotlight. Obviously John Croyle has put in a lot of hours at the football field. But, he has put his life into helping and encouraging children. Through the Big Oak Ranch, a home for abused and neglected children, Croyle has continued to learn the importance of the role of the parent in all aspects of a child's life. In this video, Croyle talks specifically about youth athletics and the parent's role as "Encourager".
